Bike School: Disc-Brake Install and Adjustment

Disc-brakes have become very popular over the last few years. In wet and muddy conditions, and when facing lots of long descents (touring the Rockies for instance), disc-brakes offer a series advantage. They can also squeal like a rowdy pig and can be difficult to adjust.

We'll cover mechanical and hydraulic disc-brake installation and adjustment, rotor truing, and brake pad replacement. Feel free to bring your own bike or use one of ours.

The class is $25 plus registration fees. Please register for the class even if you plan to pay at the door. During registration, volunteers may use the discount code "Volunteer" to waive the registration fee and Yay Bikes members may use discount code "Yay Bikes" to receive 15% off.
